Our History
Westmann Engineering Co. (Pvt) Ltd, Sri Lanka, was incorporated as a Private Limited Liability Company in the year 1996 to service the Beverage Industry and has since diversified to service a wider range of industries with processing, packaging & date coding solutions locally and internationally having expanded to Australia, Singapore, UAE , China, Germany and the Maldives. Consistency with quality equipment and services has been a trademark throughout the history of westmann.
Westmann Engineering – Sri Lanka was founded by Mr. Lalith Seneviratne who took on the task of becoming the local agent for various European Bottling lines from Westmann Engineering GmbH (Germany) and Videojet Technologies of USA, the world’s leading brand in industrial marking and coding who has partnered with the group for over 30 years.
The rich history of the company has been a result of an excellent team who joined throughout the years and brought the company to where it is to date. One of the first is Mr. Hamilton Diaz, who joined as a Sales & Marketing Executive and advanced to shareholder / Joint Managing Director to this day.
